1. Internal High Pressure Forming Technology
Internal high-pressure forming technology is the latest forming technology that has emerged only in recent years, and it is a research frontier in the world at present. According to its structural characteristics, all kinds of connectors can be formed at one time by internal high-pressure forming method, or they can be made into profiles by general extrusion method first, then the shapes can be corrected by internal high-pressure forming method, and the tube blank can be pressed into the mold cavity by internal pressurization and axial forced feeding to form.
Due to its excellent internal high-pressure forming performance and large degree of freedom in design, one internal high-pressure forming part can replace work pieces formed by welding several parts, thus avoiding distortion and deformation caused by welding and having higher dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties. 2. Precision Die Casting Technology
The connectors of aluminum alloy body frame structure are mostly cast and formed, and the casting methods used are mainly advanced high precision die casting methods such as semi-solid die casting. At present, semi-solid die casting technology has two forming processes: rheoforming process and thixoforming process. In the former, liquid metal is fed into a specially designed injection molding barrel, sheared by a screw device to cool it into semi-solid slurry, and then die cast. In the latter, solid metal particles or debris are fed into a spiral injection molding machine, and the metal particles are made into slurry under the conditions of heating and shearing, and then die-cast and formed.
At present, semi-solid metal casting used in industry at home and abroad mainly refers to thixotropic casting, which is widely used in body frame structures. As a precision forming method, thixotropic casting has high strength and can realize one-step forming of complex shapes. It can be used for mass production of various parts without cutting or with very little cutting, thus reducing the number of parts.
